A DPO was Stripped Nak9d In Ekiti State: Read Why Now!!!

The Divisional Police Officer of the Aramoko Ekiti
division, Mr. Anthony Okpaleye, was on
Wednesday stripped n.aked by angry drivers, over
the killing of their colleague, Toyin Philips. The
driver, Mr. Omolafe Aderiye, was killed by suspected
robbers in Aramoko Ekiti on September 25, 2015,
while travelling to Lagos.
The drivers, it was learnt, were angry that the
robbery happened a few metres away from a police
checkpoint. According to an eyewitness, “The
protesting drivers said the police did not respond
swiftly. They stripped the DPO na.ked and destroyed
two police vans.”
